DuPont Kevlar® Fiber is a para-aramid synthetic fiber originally developed by DuPont® , USA. It’s renowned for its exceptional tensile strength (about 5 times STRONGER than Steel), lightweight nature, high heat resistance, cut resistance, and resistance to chemical corrosion.
Since its commercialization in 1972, Kevlar® has been widely used in personal protective equipment (such as Bulletproof Vests and Cut-resistant Gloves), Aerospace, Automotive Industries, Sports Equipment, Fiber Optic Protection Layers, and Construction Reinforcement.
