Everyday Refills, Elevated: Deff Showcases the REFILL PEN JACKET Series at Japan's ISOT

DeFF Corporation (President: Toru Araki; Headquarters: Minato-ku, Tokyo) will be at the 37th International Stationery & Paper Products Show [Summer] (ISOT), part of the 29th Lifestyle Week [Summer], at Tokyo Big Sight from Wednesday, June 24 to Friday, June 26, 2026.

You'll find us at booth L99-33. The centrepiece is the REFILL PEN JACKET series, our line of pens built around refills you can buy anywhere. The aluminum, titanium, natural wood and carbon models will all be out on the table, so you can pick them up and feel how differently each one sits in the hand — the texture, the weight, the balance when you write.

We're also bringing two things that aren't for sale yet: a new REFILL PEN JACKET model still in development, and the first product in an entirely new stationery line. Both are reference exhibits — an early look at where our stationery business is headed.

Keep the Refill, Change Everything Around It

REFILL PEN JACKET starts from a simple thought: the refill you already like writing with doesn't need replacing — the body around it does. The familiar ink and tip stay exactly the same. What changes is the weight in your hand, the texture of the material, and how the pen feels to own. The lineup runs from precisely machined aluminum and titanium, to solid wood where no two grains are alike, to carbon, which is light and very much its own thing.

The Whole Series in One Place

At the booth, the REFILL PEN JACKET series is grouped by material and by collection so you can compare models directly. Texture, balance and material feel are exactly the things photos and spec sheets don't get across, which is why we'd rather you just pick the pens up. The team will also be on hand to talk about gifting programs, corporate novelties, commemorative items, and OEM or custom-order projects.

A First Look at What Comes Next

The in-development REFILL PEN JACKET on display builds on the machining and design of the current series, aimed at a wider range of everyday uses. Next to it is a preview of our first stationery product beyond pens — taking the material and design work we've done on smartphone accessories and lifestyle goods into a new category. Both are reference exhibits, so specifications, pricing and launch timing can still change.
